The MPF-10P automatic roll forming machine is designed for the production of rectangular metal picket fence profiles from pre-cut steel strips or coil-fed sheet metal.

The MPF-10P is suitable for manufacturers of metal picket fences, Euro-style metal fencing, steel fence profiles and modern metal fencing systems.

The machine can produce both a flat rectangular metal picket profile and a profile with additional stiffening ribs. A special roll-forming stand is provided for forming the reinforcing ribs, allowing different versions of metal fence profiles to be manufactured on the same machine.  

Flat Profile or Profile with Stiffening Ribs

One of the main advantages of the MPF-10P is the possibility to manufacture two different versions of the rectangular fence profile:

1. Rectangular metal picket with stiffening ribs; 
2. Flat rectangular metal picket fence profile. 

 

The machine is equipped with a special forming stand for producing the stiffening ribs.
The ribs increase the rigidity of the finished metal picket and help reduce deformation of longer fence elements. They also provide an additional decorative appearance to the finished fence.
This solution allows manufacturers to expand their product range without purchasing a separate roll forming machine.

Configuration of the roll-forming machine

1. 10 Roll Forming Stations

The MPF-10P is equipped with 10 pairs of roll forming rollers.
During production, the 139 mm wide steel strip passes progressively through the forming stations, where the required rectangular profile geometry is gradually created.
Progressive cold roll forming provides stable profile geometry and repeatable dimensions along the entire length of the finished metal picket.
The machine is designed for processing sheet metal with a thickness of 0.4-0.7 mm.

2. Fully Automatic Length and Quantity Control

The MPF-10P is equipped with an automatic control system for serial production of metal picket fence profiles.
The operator can set:

• required picket length; 
• required number of pieces. 

After the production cycle is started, the line automatically feeds and roll forms the material, measures the required profile length and activates the cutting system.
This allows batches of metal pickets with the required dimensions and quantity to be produced with minimal operator involvement.

3. Automatic Cutting

The line is equipped with an electromechanical guillotine with a 1.1 kW motor.
The cutting system works together with the automatic control system. Once the programmed length is reached, the finished metal fence profile is automatically cut.
As a result, the operator receives finished metal pickets of the required length ready for further packaging or installation.

4. Coil Feeding Options

For continuous production from steel coils, the MPF-10P metal picket fence roll forming machine can be additionally equipped with a decoiler.
Two main configurations are available:

• Manual console decoiler – a simple and cost-effective solution for small and medium production volumes.
• Automatic console decoiler – recommended for higher production volumes and more automated coil feeding.

The decoiler configuration and loading capacity can be selected according to the customer's coil parameters and production requirements.
