Round duct seaming machine RDSM 1300x1.2 is used for closing operation of round pipe standing seam lock in round duct systems, drainage, ventilation and air conditioning systems production. The machine finds its application in workshops of thin metal products production, manufacturing companies of ventilation and air conditioning systems, construction companies whose work is related to sheet metal and manufacturing of different diameter pipes.

To work with round duct seaming machine RDSM 1300x1.2 sheet metal pipe has to be pre-fabricated. To get blanks for pipe production you need at first to cut metal sheet in necessary dimensions using guillotine, plasma cutter, cut-to-length slitting machine or cross cutting knife from bending machine. After you have to make standing seam pipe lock on two parallels sides of blank. You can use bending machine, folding machine or ventilation lock forming HVAC machine to make this operation. Next step, using three or four rolls plate forming machine you can get round pipe with necessary diameter from flat metal sheet. And as final step to close lock of pipe with round duct seaming machine RDSM 1300x1.2 of our fabrication.

Round duct seaming machine RDSM 1300x1.2 has rotating roll which is driven by special rotating handle. With closed pressing mechanism of machine pipe is going between mechanism and roll so step per step pipe lock is closing. If thickness of metal is too high so closing operation can be done in two times.

As per request we can make machine with 1500-1600mm working length.

Machine can work with maximum metal thickness 1.2mm. In standard design we make machine with 90mm shaft diameter so minimum pipes diameter you can work with is more than 90 mm.

As per request we can make machine with shaft diameter less than 90mm but in this case maximum metal thickness would be less than 1.2mm

Round duct seaming machine RDSM 1300x1.2 is equipped with special clamping eccentric mechanism which makes possible to adjust clamping force one time for necessary metal thickness and simply use clamping handle to close and open it without setting it up each time. It saves time while working with machine.

The machine is manual so it doesn’t need any air or electricity to work.
